Sunday Morning

It's a Sunday morning and it's just me and Bedhead (the guinea pig) that are up. My sweet and crazy dog Ginger got up only to go to the bathroom and then went back to sleep. I'm usually up by 10 a.m. But today, I was up at 6:30. I figured it was a good time to get up and read all the blogs that I've been missing out on all week.

I've also started working on projects for the upcoming week. I hope to have them finished by this evening so that I can have them ready tomorrow morning. It's kinda nice being up so early. The peace and quiet is wonderful. It's 9:30 right now, I'm sure the others will start rolling out of bed soon and my little sanctuary will become filled with the laughter and silliness of our children.

My weekend has been great. This month we have two of our sons celebrating birthdays. Yesterday, we took them to New Braunfels to see the Lego movie. The movie was a lot funnier than I originally thought. The boys loved it. I have to admit that I fell asleep for about 5 minutes. I couldn't help it. It wasn't because the movie was boring, it was because I was exhausted from the busy week.

We also went to Gruene, Texas to show the boys some history.

I didn't realize it but the Gruene dance hall was where the movie Michael with John Travolta was partially filmed. As we sat inside, it was relaxing and enjoyable to see the people dancing. Their joy was contagious. I loved watching the smiles and obvious love between couples.

Over all, I have to say that this weekend has been pretty good! Praise Jesus!

It's been a while...

Where does the time go? I have been so busy with work and home, that I've been neglecting my blog.

Today was our 100th day of school. We did many activities that left me wiped out. But the students had a great time and that was worth it all.

I completed a few projects for TPT.

1. Monthly Reading Bingos
2. Sample of upcoming Daily Math
